Dear colleagues,

The 48th Congress of the NES was successfully finished. It was organized by Dr. Panayiota Mavrogeni from Cyprus, with her co-chair, Dr. Stefani Maihoub. That was the first online congress in the history of NES due to pandemic. The main topics were the COVID 19 related olfactory disorders, vestibular examinations and disorders, Meniere's disease, vestibular rehabilitation, tinnitus, cochlear implants, and electromagnetic field. The detailed program is available on the home-page of the congress. (www.48thnescongress2021.com) We had 9 invited lecturers, 27 regular lecturers, 8 posters. We had about 80 participants in the virtual space. We are very thankful to the organizers and the lecturers for the perfect and successful congress. I hope so that we will meet again in the next NES congress, which will be held in Budapest, 26-28th May 2022, hopefully with personal attendance. (www.48thnescongress2021.com)
